Preparation
- Pour teriyaki sauce into ziploc bag and add in garlic and chicken. Massage the marinade into the chicken. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. You'll know the oil is ready when it's thin and moves easily around the skillet. Add chicken and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side continuing to baste with the remaining teriyaki.
- Remove chicken from skillet and turn heat to low. Whisk honey into the skillet drippings and pour over chicken breasts.
Cook's Notes
If you don't have thin sliced chicken breasts you can place the breast between two pieces of wax or parchment paper and bang out with either a mallet or a heavy skillet until the chicken is about 1/2 inch thick. This helps it cook evenly and faster.

Comment: I tried this recipe at my boyfriend's house, and we both enjoyed it. Next time I want to try with more honey and a homemade teriyaki sauce. I will definitely make this again as I absolutely love teriyaki. |
