Ingredients



We recommend using the following branded ingredients for this recipe:


asparagus

Bertolli Olive Oil

House of Tsang Sesame Oil

Kikkoman Soy Sauce

Sushi Chef Sesame Seeds

  • 1 lb. asparagus
  • 2 tbsp. Bertolli Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp. House of Tsang Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • Handful Sushi Chef Sesame Seeds


Preparation




  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Clean asparagus and place in a large food storage bag.

  3. Add olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt and sesame seeds to bag. Massage all ingredients around until asparagus is covered. Let asparagus marinate for about 15 minutes.

  4. Pour entire contents of bag into ungreased baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until desired tenderness.



Cook's Notes



You can prepare this 5-6 hours ahead of time and let it sit in the refrigerator until you're ready to bake. And the leftovers are great served chilled the next day!

Comment: Hey cooks! I can't believe I forgot to include sesame oil in the recipe! I've updated it now (thanks Teri C!). Make sure you use DARK sesame oil when preparing this asparagus. It has an amazing rich, nutty flavor.
