Ingredients



We recommend using the following branded ingredients for this recipe:


Bertolli Olive Oil

McCormick Italian Seasoning

Pillsbury Thin Pizza Crust

Ragu Pizza Sauce Homemade Style

Sargento Light String Cheese

  • 1/2 cup red pepper(s)
  • 1/2 cup green pepper(s)
  • 1/4 cup Bertolli Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp McCormick Italian Seasoning
  • 1 package Pillsbury Thin Pizza Crust
  • 1 jar Ragu Pizza Sauce Homemade Style
  • 4 Sargento Light String Cheese


Preparation




  1. Press out dough into a rectangle and cut into 24 squares.

  2. Cut each string cheese into 12 pieces, then place a chunk of cheese and a sprinkle of red and green peppers on each square.

  3. Wrap dough around filling, pressing sides to keep enclosed and place seam side down on to greased cookie sheet.

  4. Mix oil and Italian seasoning, then brush each "bomb" with the mixture.

  5. Bake at 400 for 6-12 minutes until golden brown.

  6. Serve with warm pizza sauce.



Cook's Notes



Add or substitute any kind of pizza toppings or cheese for a variety.
