Preparation
- Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on pita.
- Remove stem from mushroom and cut the top of the cap off. (The idea is to use the under side of the cap and still having it a thin slice for the eye.)
- Cut or pull apart string cheese and begin to "wrap" the mummy pizza.
- Cut very thin strips of green pepper and place "X's" over the eyes (mushrooms).
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Cook's Notes
You can sneak all kinds of extra veggies under the mummy's "wrap" to make it even more healthy for the kids. They'll never know - which is great for a pre-trick-or-treating meal on Halloween!
