Ingredients

Heinz Yellow Mustard

Lightlife Smart Bacon

Martha White Flour

Splenda Granulated Sweetener

  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 5 green onion(s)
  • 6 new potato(es)
  • 1/2 tsp Heinz Yellow Mustard
  • 5 strips Lightlife Smart Bacon
  • 1 tbsp Martha White Flour
  • 1 tbsp Splenda Granulated Sweetener


Preparation




  1. Cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes. Place in pot with 1/3 cup water and boil for about 10 minutes or until tender. Drain water from potatoes and keep potatoes in pan.

  2. While potatoes are cooking, cook bacon according to package directions. Cool, then crumble.

  3. Add Splenda, flour, water, vinegar and mustard into skillet that bacon was cooked in. Whisk together over low heat until mixed.

  4. Add bacon, green onion and dressing to pot with potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Coat potatoes with dressing and serve.

Comment: I was JUST looking for a good German potato salad recipe! Thanks for sharing! Using veggie bacon and Splenda are such good ideas - to me they taste just as good as their "real" counterparts but are much lower in calories. Mmm!
