Hot German Potato Salad

Preparation
- Cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes. Place in pot with 1/3 cup water and boil for about 10 minutes or until tender. Drain water from potatoes and keep potatoes in pan.
- While potatoes are cooking, cook bacon according to package directions. Cool, then crumble.
- Add Splenda, flour, water, vinegar and mustard into skillet that bacon was cooked in. Whisk together over low heat until mixed.
- Add bacon, green onion and dressing to pot with potatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Coat potatoes with dressing and serve.

Comment: I was JUST looking for a good German potato salad recipe! Thanks for sharing! Using veggie bacon and Splenda are such good ideas - to me they taste just as good as their "real" counterparts but are much lower in calories. Mmm! |
