Ingredients

We recommend using the following branded ingredients for this recipe:

ground beef

Heinz Worcestershire Sauce

McCormick Minced Onion

Pillsbury Breadsticks

Progresso Plain Bread Crumbs

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Heinz Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. Heinz Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. McCormick Minced Onion
  • 1 package Pillsbury Breadsticks
  • 1/2 cup Progresso Plain Bread Crumbs

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Separate dough into 12 breadsticks. Cut each into four pieces. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet and place on wire racks. Cool 5 minutes then slice each in half, keeping tops and bottoms together to form miniature buns.

  3. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Beat egg in medium bowl. Add onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir in bread crumbs, then add ground beef. Mix well.

  4. Press ground beef into a thin layer in the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 14-16 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Cut into 48 rectangles (6 strips by 8 strips).

  5. Place burgers on buns and serve with ketchup on the side for dipping.
