Ingredients

We recommend using the following branded ingredients for this recipe:

baguette(s)

Alpine Lace Sliced Swiss Cheese (8 oz.)

Campbell's Fresh Harvest French Onion Soup (18.8 oz.)

  • 1/4 baguette(s)
  • 2 slices Alpine Lace Sliced Swiss Cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 can Campbell's Fresh Harvest French Onion Soup (18.8 oz.)

Preparation

  1. Pour soup into two microwaveable bowls and microwave for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, slice baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices, enough slices to cover the surface of both bowls.

  2. Place bread in bowls and push down until covered with soup. Add a slice of cheese to each bowl, then microwave for 30 seconds, or until cheese is melted.

Cook's Notes

This works best if the bread is a little stale - so keep this recipe in mind for when you have an old baguette to get rid of!

Comment: I'm not a big fan of Swiss so I use Gruyere when I make this. Yum!
