McCormick Cumin

Pace Mild Chunky Salsa

  • 1 handful cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno(s)
  • 2-3 pinches salt
  • 2 small tomato(es)
  • 1 lime(s)
  • 2 avocado(s)
  • 1 palmful McCormick Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Pace Mild Chunky Salsa


  1. Halve avocados and remove the pits. Finely dice avocado still in the peel by drawing a grid with your knife and scoop out. [If this doesn't work you can easily scoop out the avocado and dice on the cutting board.] Add avocado to bowl.

  2. Seed and dice jalapeno, add to avocado.

  3. Add diced tomato, salsa, finely choppped cilantro, juice of one lime, salt and cumin. Stir until combined, but not blended - you want the avocado to still be a bit chunky and not too mushy.

  4. Serve with baked tortilla chips ... and a Corona or a Margarita. Corona Light if you're trying to be good!

Cook's Notes

If you like more heat add the seeds from the jalapeno.

Comment: What a great idea! I never would have thought to add cucumbers, but that's a great way to sneak in extra veggies. Mmm!
