  • 1 cup Muir Glen Medium Salsa
  • 1 package Rubschlager Cocktail Pumpernickel Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Brown ground beef. Meanwhile, add Velveeta, sour cream, and salsa to a bowl and microwave until melted.

  3. Add ground beef to cheesy mixture.

  4. Lay bread slices on a baking sheet (covered in foil for easier clean-up) and top each one generously with the cheesy mixture.

  5. Bake in oven just until the tops start to brown. Serve immediately.

Cook's Notes

You can also use pork sausage, and you can add onions, green peppers, or red peppers.

Comment: I added onions and next time I think I'll use hot salsa - we like it spicy in our house!
