My daughters always loved this on a cold day. Now that they are grown they make Macocheese for their children.

Ingredients



We recommend using the following branded ingredients for this recipe:


Barilla Plus Elbows (14.5 oz.)

Carnation Evaporated Milk (5 oz.)

Contadina Bread Crumbs (10 oz.)

Kraft Cheez Whiz

Land-O-Lakes Unsalted Butter

  • 1 package Barilla Plus Elbows (14.5 oz.)
  • 1 can Carnation Evaporated Milk (5 oz.)
  • Contadina Bread Crumbs (10 oz.)
  • 1 jar Kraft Cheez Whiz
  • 2 tbsp. Land-O-Lakes Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Martha White Flour


Preparation




  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Prepare pasta according to package directions.

  3. Combine the Cheese Whiz, milk, flour, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir until cheese and butter are melted.

  4. Put cooked pasta in a 8x8 inch pan. Pour cheese mix over pasta. Top with bread crumbs and bake for 30 minutes.




Cook's Notes



You can always add things to this, like vegtables, herbs, or leftover meat. I often add chopped onion, red pepper flakes, and or bacon bits.
