Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Melt butter in a casserole dish.
- Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and milk in mixing bowl. Pour mixture in casserole dish with melted butter. Gently spoon pie filling into dish then sprinkle nuts on top.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
Cook's Notes
I like to melt the butter in the oven as it preheats and I mix the other ingredients. This recipe can also be used with any other pie filling or even canned fruit such as peaches. Great served hot with vanilla ice cream.
