Ingredients



We recommend using the following branded ingredients for this recipe:


SeaPak Shrimp Scampi (12 oz.)

Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix (8 oz.)

  • 1 package SeaPak Shrimp Scampi (12 oz.)
  • 1 package Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix (8 oz.)


Preparation




  1. Prepare rice mix according to package instructions.

  2. Preheat skillet for 1 minute over medium heat and add shrimp scampi. Cook for 6-7 minutes. Don't overcook.

  3. Add shrimp to rice for last 5 minutes of cook time to blend all flavors.



Cook's Notes



If you don't like shrimp you can substitute Hillshire Farm Little Smokies or a spicier sausage if you want to punch up the flavor even more.

Comment: This was great! My husband, Elvis, thinks of shrimp as an appetizer vs. a main dish, so I added some Tyson grilled chicken strips to make it heartier for him. It was a big hit!
